Windows Vista / 7 - pure IPv6 (NATPT)

Replying to myself here, have some more data.

I have a vanilla install of Windows 7 Enterprise. If I ping something,
with the following command:

c:\> ping www.google.com

It fails (DNS). If I immediately run the command again - it works (using
the NATPT prefix AAAA record). My next step is to get a SPAN port going
and look at the query in real time.

On linux, this works immediately / consistently.
