Your argument has some merit, but *right now* we don't know how to deal 
with it.

Hence my original post...

If there's a practical solution to the problem right now, then great. If 
the solution is "wait for a notional router platform that may or may not 
exists in 8 years time"... then I think that hinders rather than helps IPv6.
