Oh, we use cfengine extensively, we just aren't going to use it for a
part of the configuration that impacts connectivity to the machines. One
screwup and the machines are unreachable over the network, you are
locked out, and must go from console to console on 1000's of machines in
order to fix them because simply correcting the cfengine config and
pushing it out again isn't going to work because now all the machines
are "deaf".
