The reason I think this is a cache timeout bug in the gui libraries is
that it always works on a fresh query, i.e. after clearing the dns
cache, and it always fails after a period of time (though I haven't had
a chance to characterize the details, it "feels" like the one hour cache
timeout facebook uses).
Though I just upgraded to 10.6.4 this morning here at work, and I'm not
seeing the problem now --- maybe they fixed it...
