The youtube web page is IPv4 only, but the images and videos are delivered
over IPv6. You can see this in the dns on, for example, s.ytimg.com:
$ host s.ytimg.com
s.ytimg.com is a nickname for static.cache.l.google.com
static.cache.l.google.com has address 74.125.170.229
static.cache.l.google.com has address 2001:4860:4001:402::26

I'm not sure - if you don't get v6 for images and videos either, it
might be that Google has decided "not enough v6 capacity near you".
For the web site, nobody gets v6 today - so that might be misleading.
