	we (ISI) built an rWHOIS server w/ IPv6 support in 1996/7
	and passed that back to VSGN/ARIN for wrapping into the supported
	rWHOIS tool.  so most "modern" rWHOIS servers should support 
	IPv6, if the admins put the data in  -AND- turn on IPv6 transport.
