Confirmed on Yosemite/Safari 8.
However the 2607:: address I tried already has 4 characters in each of
the first 3 sections (ala, 2607:abcd:abcd::8) so this trick doesn't
work. I also tried 2607:abcd:abcd:0:0:0:0:8 and various other
zero-padded combinations that didn't work either.
