Interestingly, that last time I timed the IPv4 versys IPv6 latency - 
from myself to www.google.com - I saw a clear bias in favour of IPv4, of 
about 2ms.

Having just re-timed it, they're pretty much dead-on the same. 
Presumably my upstream and/or google have rejigged things in the meantime.
