Why is it that you think taking my quote completely out of context is an 
effective way to make your argument?

Go back and read what I wrote ... the bit that has nothing to do with 
NPTv6 is using FTP without passive mode. Using NPTv6 instead of NAT 
would actually _allow_ you to do that, providing the firewall 
administrator leaves ftp-data open, which they almost certainly will not 
do.

And yes, I have read 6296, several times, before and after it became an 
RFC.
