Well, since you've just cost the mailman server a little space in asking 
whether or not it's ok for you post a perl script, and I've just cost it some 
more in replying to you; I'm sure it won't matter if you actually just go 
ahead and post it.

if you're feeling especially worried about the poor ipv6-ops mailman, consider 
putting the script into a pastebin.
