Then I rather do: echo "AddressFamily inet6" >>~.ssh/config
which for me would actually work 99% of the time.
I rather have that 'ip6addrctl' support though, or just a /etc/gai.conf
but it seems that DNS resolution is hidden somewhere in mDNSResolver
nonsense for which there is little to no documentation.
Heck even just adding something to /etc/hosts is not even possible.
which makes debugging issues where a host has multiple addresses for me
result into either hacking the recursive dns server to serve different
answers or to do it on a non-mac-box where the ways to do this are
documented and are able to be changed.
