It is in the openwrt codebase, as "openvpn-devel" (regular HEAD snapshots
from git://openvpn.git.sourceforge.net/gitroot/openvpn/openvpn-testing.git,
"allmerged" branch)

OpenVPN development pace is very much focused on stability ("no changes
that have not been most thoroughly tested by lots of people") - so it has
been decided that the upcoming 2.2 (now in beta3) will not have either
of the IPv6 patches. The next version after that is likely to have it
- and my guess is that we'll see it "some time Q2 2011".
