Stock OpenVPN 2.1.x or 2.2 does not do any IPv6 at all (in --server mode).

My patch adds "encapsulation of IPv6 VPN traffic" to OpenVPN, across 
whatever protocol you use as transport (OpenVPN is not an "IPSEC style 
VPN", but does SSL over UDP or TCP, and IP on top of that).

JJO's patch adds "OpenVPN over IPv6 transport".

Together, these patches give you full IPv4-or-IPv6 over IPv4-or-IPv6.
