A good tool for manipulating IPv6 addresses is ipv6calc.
chh at urlux:~ $ ipv6calc 2001:db8:0:abcd::7 --out revnibbles.arpa
No input type specified, try autodetection...found type: ipv6addr
7.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.d.c.b.a.0.0.0.0.8.b.d.0.1.0.0.2.ip6.arpa.
