Hi,
apt-get install sipcalc
souce available at http://www.routemeister.net/projects/sipcalc/
sample usage:
# sipcalc 2001:abc::/48
-[ipv6 : 2001:abc::/48] - 0
[IPV6 INFO]
Expanded Address - 2001:0abc:0000:0000:0000:0000:0000:0000
Compressed address - 2001:abc::
Subnet prefix (masked) - 2001:abc:0:0:0:0:0:0/48
