traceroute, or mtr? Don't use mtr for such stuff, as mtr won't tell you
the full truth.

traceroute does.
Nevertheless, 2001:5000:0:5::2 is zcr2.muc.cw.net, which is the router
carrying the AS3320 peering, so I cannot see a CW problem at all. Not
from my traceroute, nor your problem description.
