No, it seems it all has to do with getting back different IPv6 addresses
from the (geo) DNS, you thus might just be getting back the working
address ;)

See: http://www.sixxs.net/forum/?msg=general-9511818

for more details on this, or as we the one RING to rule them all:

$ ring-all dig +short www.facebook.com aaaa >tmp
$ cat tmp | grep face:b00c | sort -n | uniq -c
     22     2a03:2880:10:8f07:face:b00c:0:1
     34     2a03:2880:10:cf07:face:b00c:0:1
     12     2a03:2880:2030:2f01:face:b00c:0:8
     21     2a03:2880:2050:1f08:face:b00c:0:1
     21     2a03:2880:2050:3f07:face:b00c:0:1
     38     2a03:2880:2110:3f07:face:b00c:0:1
     25     2a03:2880:2110:9f07:face:b00c:0:1
     27     2a03:2880:2110:cf07:face:b00c:0:1

As you can see, it is kinda spread out which front end you get.

It seems not all of them actually properly respond to all sources...

But that might be fixed sooner than we notice.

Greets,
 Jeroen
