IPV6 in the network core and MPLS

This is the only thing I recall seeing from Cisco (Blog Entry) – also took a quick look through Cisco Live 365 site and didn’t see anything…

If you want to use MPLS, you still need IPv4 core. None of the major vendors (that I’m aware of) support LDPv6 or VPNv4 with IPv6 next hops ... Of course I hope someone will jump in and correct me ;)

Subject: IPV6 in the network core and MPLS

I have been trying to find out if we can use MPLS & LDP to setup MPLS VPNS within our all IPV6 network. Everything I read says no, LDP & MPLS don't support native IPV6, you have to use 6VPE and IPV4 in the core.
Is this true?          PS: We are an all Cisco IOS/NXOS based network.
