No, it's true.  It was on Fox news too:

Except that the Fox news version contained this sentence, which was lated 
changed in the news.com.au version:

"Web developers have tried to compensate for this problem by creating IPv6 
-- a system that recognizes six-digit IP addresses rather than four-digit 
ones."

Anyway, Fox news is much truthier than any other news outlet, so it must be 
true.
