VMware vmxnet3 issues with IPv6

Hi,

FYI, we have searched a long time for this issue because it does not
happen very frequently. Apparently VMware's virtualized NIC driver
vmxnet3 is incompatible with IPv6 (even link-local) when used in a
distributed-vSwitch environment. It causes network interfaces to stay
down after a guest reboot. The workaround is rather stupid.

If someone has good support channels with VMware please give them a
