/127 between routers?

There are no packet loops on interfaces that use address resolution, 
e.g. Ethernet.  This is a problem with SDH/SONET and similar p2p 
interfaces, however.  It would be clearer to everyone if the 
proponents of /127 would remember to say that when crying wolf (packet 
loops).
